The CNP
In this exciting episode…
Ok so today we are looking at the Think Tank which gives Trump his marching orders. This is the Think Tank that drives the ideology behind the actions that we are seeing today and, rather depressingly and obviously, they do not have our best interests at heart.
From the last exciting episode…
So far this blog series has exposed the use of a mind control programme called Cambridge Analytica – developed by SCL- that is used to direct the results of elections across the globe by stealing social media data and utilising it to create personalised advertising campaigns to make you angry. This program is considered a weapon of the British Government and is under export control. The board of this company has direct connections to the establishment, the elites of the UK and the USA and the intelligence agencies. The Israeli intelligence agency Mossad also has its own version named Black Cube which was used to help elect Viktor Orban with the help of Benjamin Nethanyahu’s personal lawyers Finkelstein and Birnbaum (who had previously helped Bibi get elected in Israel with a campaign of lies and false accusations). They have been used to alter the results of elections and promote so called popularist candidates in Africa, Europe, India and South America, they were also used for the Trump campaign and the Brexit campaign (this means that elements of the elites favoured both Trump and Brexit). They are financed by The Mercer family, Steve Bannon, The Regnery’s, The Shilmans, The Rosenwalds, the Koch brothers, The Wilks brothers and the Devos family.
One question that needs to be asked is, if this is about nationalism, why do they not promote national pastimes but rather simply stoke a crude fear of outsiders? Why if these are all individual, national movements, are they all sponsored by the same people? Why do they use the same media outlets and why do they all promote the same false message – terrified jingoism that ultimately benefits the rich?
To spread favourable propaganda they bought up and promoted a series of allegedly alternative media personalities and platforms, which on the surface appear anti- establishment but are in fact financed by these very same elites. These include Breitbart, The Daily Caller, WND, Turning Point USA, Rebel Media, Red Ice Radio, Project Veritas, The Rubin Report, The Washington Free Beacon, PragerU, Gatestone Media, Stephen Crowder, Candace Owens, Milo Yiannopopolous, Charlie Kirk, Dave Rubin, Ben Shapiro, Dinesh D’souza, Laura Loomer, Lauren Southern, Tommy Robinson, James O Keefe, Sean Hannity, Tucker Carlson, Glenn Beck and Richard Spencer. Politicians such as Bolsanaro, Salvini, Le Pen, Orban, Geert Wilders and Nigel Farage are all recipients of favourable press from these sources. The main tactic is to stoke fear with lies about immigration via social media, with the use of fake accounts to create an echo-chamber effect. The tactic appears to be to frame these politicians and media outlets and personalities as anti establishment, when the evidence proves that this simply cannot be true.
The main financiers of these mind control and propaganda programmes all appear to be connected via the American think-tank The Heritage Foundation. The Heritage Foundation supplied the majority of policies for Reagan, Bush, Clinton and even Obama and now supplies the policies for Trump. Recent tax cuts and roll backs of workers and environmental rights by Trump were at the suggestion of the Heritage Foundation. Trump currently has over sixty members of the Foundation in his administration; they also handpicked recent Supreme Court Judges Brett Kavanaugh and Neil Gorsuch. The Heritage Foundation was the driving force behind the Thatcher years of privatisation (for the benefit of big business) and is heavily connected to the oil and petrochemical industry. The IEA, which are desperately trying to privatise the NHS and has David Davis, Boris Johnson, Daniel Hannan, Liam Fox and Michael Gove under its wing, is associated with the Heritage Foundation. Turning Point UK, which is connected to Jacob Rees Mogg and wants to privatise the NHS and arrange for the UK to reduce its food standards to that of the FDA is also connected to the Heritage Foundation. The Heritage Foundation pushed for the invasion of Iraq, the destabilisation of South America and the manipulation of oil prices globally usually via wars.
The Heritage Foundation receives a huge amount of financial and spiritual support from the Unification Church of Sun Myung Moon (The Moonies). Investigation has shown that this Korean religious cult was in fact set up by the CIA and therefore, via the conduit of a weird religious order, the CIA help to finance the Heritage Foundation.
Why is the mainstream media not covering this? Why are the alternative media not covering this?
Whilst the Heritage Foundation think tank seems to manoeuvre policy in a practical sense, the ideology of the group seems to be based on the desires of an even more secretive cabal known as the CNP.
The Council for National Policy
The Council for National Policy or CNP was founded in 1981 at the direction of the Heritage Foundation’s Coors family. You may remember from the previous blog post that The Heritage Foundation was involved with the John Birch Society, which may go some way to explaining the cast of characters behind the formation of the CNP.
Plenty of batshit, right up front.
The first founding member of the CNP was Tim LaHaye, who was at the time the head of the Heritage Foundation founded political party of evangelical preacher Jerry Falwell, the Moral Majority. Tim Lahaye is more widely known for being the author of the Left Behind series of books foretelling the woes of those left on earth following the inevitable rapture. Essentially these books are a novelisation of the rapture, tribulation (the period before Jesus returns to earth to battle Satan) and subsequent Armageddon. It was also made into a film starring Nicholas Cage, which is not something to be proud of per se, but it is an interesting anecdote.
Other founding members included Paul Weyrich, friend of the Coors brothers (and of Nazi collaborator Lazlo Pastor) who helped found the Heritage Foundation and ALEC. William Cies, a wealthy member of the John Birch Society also helped start the organisation alongside fellow John Birch member and Oilman Nelson Bunker Hunt. Another founding member was former politician and evangelical Christian Howard Phillips. Phillips had also helped Jerry Falwell start his right wing conservative political movement The Moral Majority. The final founding member was the multi millionaire oil heir T. Cullen Davis, a Texan who had been tried, but was acquitted, for the murder of his step daughter. He was later accused of attempting to hire an assassin to murder his ex-wife. Tim LaHaye expressed his wishes for the CNP to act as “a forum for conservative Christians seeking to strengthen the political right in the United States.”
The John Birch Society
Just to remind you, the John Birch Society is the ultra conservative, Christian organisation that had a tendency to seeing communist takeovers wherever they looked. The John Birch Society even went so far as to smear President Dwight Eisenhower as a, "conscious, dedicated agent of the Communist conspiracy.”. The Society also rails against wealth redistribution, economic interventionism and any type of socialism. The JBS also strongly opposed the civil rights movement (saying it was a communist plot but really because they hate everyone who isn’t rich, white and Christian) and are vehemently against immigration (saying it was a communist plot but really because they hate everyone who isn’t rich, white and Christian). Dear god good reader, I do hope this is sounding alarmingly familiar to you and setting off all types of warnings in your head.
Recently, as being terrified of communism and misrepresenting socialism (suggesting that such schemes as nationalised healthcare and free school dinners are the first step on a slippery slope to an inevitable holodomor), comes back into vogue, the JBS has begun to openly talk about this in its publications. They even included suggestions of making George Soros the chief target of their hatred in their publications. This is particularly interesting when you know that the majority of recent Soros directed ire has been a product of the Israeli lawyers Finkelstein and Birnbaum, who were the architects of Benjamin Nethan yahu’s rise to prominence. They admitted to creating the image of him as a monster in order to have an enemy for their client to rail against. Black Cube the Mossad financed weapon that spreads false information also used Soros as their target for blame for all the woes of the western world during their campaign to get right wing lunatic Viktor Orban elected in Hungary. I am not saying that Soros is whiter than white or even a good guy. As discussed in previous blog posts I think he is a CIA asset that helped with the overthrow of the former Yugoslavia. However, if you believe that he is responsible for the current refuge crisis or that he has plans to make Europe communist or that he finances half the groups that you think are bad for some reason then I am terribly sorry but you have fallen for Mossad and British Intelligence propaganda. Please see the previous blogs for proof of this, but one example is the listed 200 Soros companies that Orban kicked out of Hungary as they were undermining the country. Firstly none of the companies had anything to do with Soros, Orban merely used his name to smear them and secondly, the companies that were expelled were organisations such as Amnesty International and international investigative bodies that probe corruption and human rights abuses. Orban simply wanted them out of the country to better conceal his long list of corruption and human rights abuses.
It doesn’t take a genius to see that the remnants of the John Birch Society are probably behind this recent trend for hysterical terror about a growing communist threat, especially if you have read this blog and are aware of the other forms of propaganda that are driving this movement. It is literally what they are all about and with the connection to these various Think Tanks that have influence in politics and power, they have a chance to peddle their own particular brand of total and complete bollocks. The John Birch Society was at a time convinced that the Catholic church was the true power behind the Illuminati or New World Order, at other times they swear it is a Jewish or a communist plot or satanic or all of them if they are feeling particularly chatty. This is particularly ironic when you realise that they are founded and sponsored by some of the biggest powerbrokers in the world and have direct connections to other foundations that literally direct world events via economic means, disruption of societies both foreign and domestic, controlling politicians and policy and starting wars. This is not hyperbole, please, please read my previous blogs.
The John Birch Society is also well known for its complete lack of tolerance to LGBT people and issues and of course a rabid hatred for abortion. The JBS was also behind the publication of the Book None Dare Call It Conspiracy, the theory by Gay Allen suggesting that a world communist organisation was waiting in the wings to spring into action and seize power over the zombified masses. This was the book that reportedly started Alex Jones on his career with Infowars.com. Alex Jones has been rumoured to be a member or ex member of the John Birch Society. The Koch brother’s father, Fred Koch was a founding member of the John Birch Society, it is known that Charles Koch was a member too. Tim LaHaye was also an avowed member of the JBS.
Trump and the John Birch Society
Current President, Donald Trump has been linked to the organisation many times. This is presumably at times when he is not clumsily banging porn stars behind his pregnant wife’s back.
Politico magazine reported that Trumps lawyer and mentor, Roy Cohn was “deeply involved with the Society and its leaders.” Trump confidante and long time advisor Roger Stone said that Trump's father Fred Trump was a financier of the Society and a personal friend of founder Robert Welch. Trumps current Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney spoke at the John Birch Society’s National Council dinner shortly before being appointed to the Trump administration. Rand Paul, who acts in a foreign policy advisor to Trump, is also connected to the Society. His father Ron Paul has been a member for years and had the dubious honour of presenting the keynote speech at the Society’s fiftieth anniversary. Alex Jones, who famously (somehow) secured appearances from Trump on his Infowars show, called Trump a "John Birch Society president" and previously claimed Trump was "more John Birch Society than the John Birch Society." Jeet Heer of The New Republic, put it succinctly, saying; “Trumpism is really Bircherism.”
So we can see the Heritage Foundation and the John Birch Society have their strings attached to Trump. It gets worse (but come on you know me and you were expecting that weren’t you.)
Anyway, back to the CNP
The CNP is so secretive that (like the Mafia or Mi6) there is a policy not only to deny membership but also to avoid admitting that the group itself exists. The New York Times has previously described the group as, “a little- known club of a few hundred of the most powerful conservatives in the country.” The Nation has called it a secretive organization that "networks wealthy right-wing donors together with top conservative operatives to plan long-term movement strategy." The CNP meets three times a year in a secret location, membership lists are not openly published.
In 1981, the CNP’s first executive director told Newsweek that “One day before the end of this century, the Council will be so influential that no president, regardless of party of philosophy, will be able to ignore us or our concerns or shut us out of the highest levels of government.”
How much influence do they have?
Well apparently before the most recent election cycle, each and every republican candidate had to perform a speech at the CNP. Was this an audition for approval? It certainly looks that way. The National Review reported that each potential candidate had thirty minutes to show the audience that they were in line with their hopes for America.
The CNP describes itself as "an educational foundation organized under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. We do not lobby Congress, support candidates, or issue public policy statements on controversial issues. Our over 600 members include many of our nation's leaders from the fields of government, business, the media, religion, and the professions. Our members are united in their belief in a free enterprise system, a strong national defence, and support for traditional western values. They meet to share the best information available on national and world problems, know one another on a personal basis, and collaborate in achieving their shared goals."
Marc J. Ambinder of ABC News said about the CNP: "The group wants to be the conservative version of the Council on Foreign Relations."
The CNP’s 2014 vision statement lays out its goal:
“A united conservative movement to assure, by 2020, policy leadership and governance that restores religious and economic freedom, a strong national defence, and Judeo-Christian values under the Constitution.”
The Salt Lake City Tribune reported on the CNP, “Members are told not to discuss the group, reveal the topics discussed in the closed-door meetings, or even say whether or not they are members of the organization.” The membership list is “strictly confidential” and guests may attend “only with the unanimous approval of the executive committee,”
The New York Times has reported of the CNP’s gatherings “The media should not know when or where we meet or who takes part in our programs, before or after a meeting.”
Over the years the CNP has been given millions of dollars from the Unification Church of the Reverend Sun Myung Moon. We discussed in the previous blog that this church is essentially a front for CIA mind control experiments and is financed by the CIA. Hence the CNP is also funded by the CIA.
Who are the members of this group?
A few names have been leaked on tax forms or on lists from whistleblowers but on the whole the CNP, which can be joined by invitation only and at the cost of several thousands of dollars, has managed to maintain secrecy about its membership.
Executive directors of the CNP have included Woody Jenkins, Morton Blackwell and Bob Reccord. Presidents of the CNP have included Nelson Bunker Hunt (John Birch Society), Richard DeVos (who founded the Amway shopping empire – Betsy DeVos’s dad), Pat Robertson (The insane Christian Evangelist) retired Judge Paul Pressler of Houston, and former Reagan Cabinet secretaries Edwin Meese and Donald Hodel.
The Heritage Foundation is, of course well represented (It was founded with the help of Paul Weyrich after all) with members John Singlaub, Edwin J Feulner and Jerry Falwell all also enjoying membership to the CNP.
Some familiar faces
The Mercer family are all members of the CNP and that is the connection between Cambridge Analytica, Trump, the Heritage Foundation, the Koch brothers, Breitbart and the CNP. Steve Bannon and Kellyanne Conway both of whom either work or worked closely with the President and the Mercer empire are also members of the CNP. The current Vice President Mike Pence is also a member of the CNP. Oliver North, the disgraced traitor, who protected Reagan during the Iran/Contra scandal, is also a member of the CNP. John Ashcroft (George W Bush’s Attorney General) is a member as is gun rights activist and head of the lobbying group Gun Owners of America, Larry Pratt. Also a member of the CNP is Elsa Prince, the mother of Erik Prince (who runs Blackwater mercenaries) and Betsy DeVos (the current education secretary). Wayne Lapierre of the NRA is also a member of the CNP. It is strongly rumoured, although I haven’t found solid evidence yet, that William Regnery (NPI, Charles Martel Society and sponsor of Richard Spencer) is also a member of the CNP. Are we beginning to notice a pattern here?
Anyone else?
Foster Friess, a stock picker who was recognized in 2011 for contributions exceeding $1 million to the right-wing funding apparatus started by brothers Charles and David Koch is also a member of the CNP. Friess is notorious for throwing himself an almost $8 million birthday party and saying on TV that women used to avoid pregnancy by putting a Bayer aspirin “between their knees.” In case you were curious, this is not effective.
Paul S Teller, who worked as a chief of staff to Ted Cruz (the original choice of Cambridge Analytica) is also a member of the CNP. Frank Gaffney who once worked as an advisor to Ted Cruz is also a member. Later, after Cruz was unsuccessful in his Presidential bid, Gaffney went to work for Trump and famously provided the President with inaccurate propaganda about Muslims living in America wanting violent jihad which allowed for Trump to push ahead with his totally not a Muslim ban, travel ban that he and various members of his staff repeatedly called a Muslim ban. Again do I really need to spell out the similarities and reoccurring themes here?
Tony Perkins, who heads up the anti-LGBT Family Research Council is also a member and was in fact Vice President in 2014. Perkins is a particularly odious arsehole who has falsely claimed that paedophilia is “a homosexual problem,” said that gay people “recruit” children. In the past Perkins was caught sending promotional material for a candidate he was promoting to a KKK mailing list that he bought direct from former Grand High Dragon and massive twat David Duke (for those wondering he is not a real dragon). In 2001 Perkins spoke in front of the White Supremacist Group the Council of Conservative Citizens, which was the group to which Dylann Roof was a member and claimed had inspired him to shoot up a church predominantly visited by people of colour.
This is all depressingly familiar
Michael Peroutka is currently on the board of governors for the CNP. Peroutka was for many years on the board of the League of the South, a neo-Confederate hate group that advocates for a newly seceded South ruled by white people. He was also the 2004 presidential candidate for the Constitution Party, a far-right group opposed to abortion in all cases. He has appeared on a white nationalist radio show.
Jerome Corsi, who until very recently was a regular guest on Alex jone’s Infowars is also a member of the board of governors for the CNP as is his employer Joseph Farrah who runs the website WorldNetDaily.
Further board members of the CNP, include such delights as Mat Staver, the leader of the anti LGBT group the Liberty Council and has fought to recriminalize homosexuality and Alan Sears founder of the Alliance Defending Freedom and the co-author of The Homosexual Agenda: Exposing the Principal Threat to Religious Freedom Today.
Austin Ruse, whilst being a board member for the CNP has also got the time to head the Catholic Family and Human Rights Institute which, despite its name actually argues against human rights, particularly if you happen to be gay. Ruse was once fired from a far right radio show associated with the American Family Association when, in an alarmingly anti intellectual rant, he suggested rounding up and shooting liberal professors.
Another board member is Tim Wildmon who also leads the American Family Association. Not surprisingly he is anti everyone who doesn’t happen to be rich, white and Christian and has in the past made such ludicrous reactionary statements as “homosexuality gave us the Brown Shirts, the Nazi war machine and six million dead Jews.”
Previous Presidential candidates Rick Santorum, Gary Bauer, Herman Cain, Steve Forbes and Jim Gilmore are all listed as members of the CNP.
The leaders of key conservative and like-minded groups are also on the roster, such as Citizens United President David Bossie, former Heritage Foundation President Jim DeMint, Tea Party Express Chairman Amy Kremer, National Rifle Association CEO Wayne LaPierre, Club for Growth leader David McIntosh, Judicial Watch President Thomas Fitton, Operation Rescue President Troy Newman, Americans for Tax Reform President Grover Norquist, and Jenny Beth Martin, co-founder of Tea Party Patriots.
Christopher Ruddy, Newsmax founder, CEO and president; and Neil Patel, co-founder of The Daily Caller are also members of the CNP.
(Thankfully) dead members.
In 2014 a CNP document was leaked that contained an In Memoriam page, it wasn’t full of very nice people, I have to be honest.
Madeleine Cosman is listed in the document. She is known for being a particularly nasty old racist and in 2005 she proclaimed “most Latino immigrant men molest girls under 12, although some specialize in boys, and some in nuns.” The same year she was the source for a story repeated on CNN that an illegal immigrant had reintroduced leprosy into the United States.
Howard Phillips was also listed as having been a member before he died. Phillips founded the political group the US Taxpayers Party in 1992. Their stated goal was to implement biblical law in America. Unsurprisingly, Phillips was also known for his opposition to the Voting Rights Act, homosexuality, pornography, immigrants and abortion.
John Rousas Rushdoony, who is also listed in the 2014 directory’s “In Memoriam” section also held similar views to Phillips. Rushdoony passionately advocated for a society ruled by Old Testament law requiring, among other things, the stoning of adulteresses, idolaters and “incorrigible” children.
W. Cleon Skousen was also remembered in the document. Skousen was a member and prominent speaker at the John Birch Society and was known for his defence of the Mormon Church when they were trying to exclude people of colour from joining their church. Obviously Skousen was also obsessed with the coming Communist takeover and wrote a book, The Naked Capitalist, which remains a major source of conspiracy theories for people including television personality Glenn Beck.
So it is safe to say that this is a very unpleasant group with a huge amount of very unpleasant members, though in a small mercy some of them are already dead. What is worrying is the influence that they have on current politics.
Small Government
Ok, so the CNP and Heritage Foundation and numerous other conservative groups all argue for small government. Now what does that mean? On the face of it that sounds great, limited oversight and control, as opposed to Nazi like totalitarian influences over every aspect o your existence. That is not what it means sadly. What it means is not individual freedom, on the contrary these groups want stop you doing all sorts of things ranging from sexual practice to workers rights and what you are allowed to consume and what standards of safety should be applied to products that you buy. What they mean is no government oversight on their business practices. This means no close examination of the way they treat workers, their tax practices, their policies and procedures in regards to workers rights, working hours, holidays or protections. It is not to stop a 1984 society; it is to make them the arbiter of such systems.
Look, I am as anti-government punk rock as they come (see my mighty tattoos). Bad Brains, White Riot, Rich Kids on LSD for crying out loud! Yeah? No? Ahem! Anyway, this is not anti establishment, it is a device for big business to avoid scrutiny and leverage profits against the safety and security of normal people. It is certainly not punk rock, it’s about as punk rock as Darcy Bussell drinking a slightly sugary cup of tea with her aunt at brunch.
Influence on current politics
In 2007 Rudy Giuliani was considering running for President for the Republican Party. In September 2007 the CNP met at the Grand America Hotel in Salt Lake City and destroyed any chance that he had. The CNP announced that if the Republican Party was to back Giuliani, then the CNP would introduce a third party candidate (an independent) to oppose him. The reason was that Giuliani was not conservative enough for the CNP; he was pretty liberal on abortion, gay rights and gun ownership. The CNP made their position clear and Giuliani backed out of the race. US Vice President Dick Cheney spoke at this meeting as did Mitt Romney, strangely Giuliani did not attend.
The CNP eventually gave their blessing to candidate John McCain, but only if he agreed to have the cognitively challenged Sarah Palin as his Vice President.
As reported by the Huffington Post:
“Last week, while the media focused almost obsessively on the DNC’s spectacle in Denver, the country’s most influential conservatives met quietly at a hotel in downtown Minneapolis to get to know Sarah Palin. The assembled were members of the Council for National Policy, an ultra-secretive cabal that networks wealthy right-wing donors together with top conservative operatives to plan long-term movement strategy.
CNP members have included Tony Perkins, James Dobson, Grover Norquist, Tim LaHaye and Paul Weyrich. At a secret 2000 meeting of the CNP, George W. Bush promised to nominate only pro-life judges; in 2004, then-Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist told the group, “The destiny of the nation is on the shoulders of the conservative movement.” This year, thanks to Sarah Palin’s selection, the movement may have finally aligned itself behind the campaign of John McCain.
Minnery described the mood as CNP members watched Palin accept her selection as John McCain’s Vice Presidential pick. “I was standing in the back of a ballroom filled with largely Republicans who were hoping against hope that something would put excitement back into this campaign,” Minnery said. “And I have to tell you, that speech by Alaska Governor Sarah Palin — people were on their seats applauding, cheering, yelling... That room in Minneapolis watching on the television screen was electrified. I have not seen anything like it in a long time.”
Minnery added that his boss, Dobson, has yearned for a conservative female leader like Margaret Thatcher to emerge on the American scene. And while Palin is no Thatcher, “she has not rejected the feminine side of who she is, so for that reason, she will be attractive to conservative voters.”
The members of the Council for National Policy are the hidden hand behind McCain’s Palin pick. With her selection, the Republican nominee is suddenly — and unexpectedly — assured of the support of a movement that once opposed his candidacy with all its might.”
In 1999, a speech given to the CNP by Republican candidate George W. Bush is credited with helping him gain the support of conservatives in his successful bid for the United States Presidency in 2000. The content of the speech has never been released by the CNP or by Bush
The CNP's influence seemed to be a major part in getting the younger stupider Bush elected as President of the USA. Reporter Marc Ambinder noted that shortly after "candidate George W. Bush spoke before a closed-press CNP session in San Antonio...magisterial conservatives pronounced the allegedly moderate younger Bush fit for the mantle of Republican leadership."
Those speaking in recent years to the CNP have included President George W. Bush; Bush’s vice president, Dick Cheney; and Clarence Thomas, one of the most conservative justices on the Supreme Court. The speakers at CNP’s candidate forum in October 2015 included Trump, Ben Carson, Jim Gilmore, Lindsey Graham, Rand Paul and Rick Santorum.
Influence on the Trump Administration
We have already seen that the Trump administration is enforcing anything that the Heritage Foundation wants. Thus far this has included tax cuts for the rich, appointing Heritage Foundation picks as Supreme Court Judges, filling his administration with Heritage Foundation members, the rolling back of workers’ rights and rolling back of environmental protections. In the works are wars with Venezuela and Iran in order to allow the US to have a larger say in world oil prices. This has also been helped by the use of propaganda techniques such as those of Cambridge Analytica which is used to promote nationalist leaders who claim to be representatives of the people but in reality simply serve the wishes of big business.
But come on? You say. Those tax cuts were to benefit everyone through the tried and tested system of trickle-down economics! Rich people will surely give some back when they have enough? If you believe that I have some attractive beach front property in Leicester to sell you. One example: AT&T executives promised that the corporate tax cut would allow them to create more jobs. Instead, they’ve laid off 23,000.
The CNP is aggressively anti- LGBT and over one hundred and fifty members signed a petition urging Trump to introduce an anti LGBT executive order. Several months later the Trump administration argued that federal law does not protect gay employees. Trump has put forward new regulations to protect religious beliefs that essentially pave the path for refusal to medically treat someone based solely on their sexuality. There have been recent cases where people felt that they were fired from a job due to their sexuality, the Trump administration has argued that sexuality is not protected under civil rights laws and supported these firings. The Trump administration has made several attempts to ban transgender people from active involvement in the military. Trump also took the rather childish stand of ignoring Pride month and chose to, instead, speak at an anti-LGBT group.
As reported by LGBT Nation in June 2017:
“Tomorrow, Trump will headline the “Road to Majority” conference, an evangelical extremist gathering hosted by the homophobic Faith and Freedom Coalition. This is in addition to his refusal to issue a proclamation acknowledging June as Pride month.
Other speakers at the conference will include Mike Pence, Ted Cruz, evangelical author James Dobson, homophobes Pat Boone and Michael Medved, and 15 others.
It should come as no surprise that all 21 of the speakers are white. Not a single person of color will be speaking at the event.
Trump is scheduled to speak just three days before the LGBTQ Equality March in Washington D.C., which many are interpreting as an not-so-subtle nod toward his commitment to subverting LGBTQ rights.
“President Trump’s negligence at the start of Pride month provided another example that this administration is no friend to the community,” says Sarah Kate Ellis, President and CEO of GLAAD. “While the Trump Administration tries to systematically erase LGBTQ people and families from the fabric of this nation, LGBTQ Americans and allies must do what we know best this Pride month—stay visible and march for acceptance.”
The CNP also suggested to Trump that public schools should not receive as much funding and that instead Christian schools should be the recipients of the cash. Dutifully Trump’s proposed budget for 2017 slashed the Department of Education by $9.2 billion & increased money for Christian schools.
The CNP is anti Islam and anti immigration, the policies of the Trump administration represent their insane paranoid worldview.
The CNP is a far right pro white conservative Christian organisation. Trumps shameful refusal to properly admonish white power groups and racists and his tip toeing around the “fine people on both sides” is indicative of his desire to appease the CNP.
The CNP is also anti abortion. Via the Heritage Foundation Gorsuch and Kavanaugh were appointed to the Supreme Court, they are both anti-abortion. Recently Alabama made it illegal for a woman to get an abortion even in the case of rape, incest or if the abortion was the only way to save the pregnant ladies life. This is beyond barbaric.
Why is the mainstream media not covering this? Why are the alternative media not covering this?
The CNP groomed Trump before he was allowed to be President
Trump was originally not considered a valid candidate by the CNP. The organisation had to be convinced by the Mercer family as to the malleability of Trump who himself had to audition and allow himself to be moulded into a figure that they could put their clandestine support behind.
Initially the CNP favoured a candidate like Marc Rubio or their front runner Ted Cruz. They had even started a Cambridge Analytica campaign to promote Cruz and had a series of dynamite talking points for him to deliver on the campaign trail including talk of a deep state, a wall at the border and a desire to lock up Hillary Clinton that had been prepared as early as 2014.
It was only after the Clinton campaign started to promote Trump (believing they could beat him) that the Mercers seized on this free publicity and presented their perma-tanned protégé to the CNP.
CNN reported:
“Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council currently heads the executive committee of the CNP, and told CNN in an interview that Trump's takeover of the Republican Party is posing searching questions for the conservative grass-roots.
He said it is incumbent upon Trump to reach out with tangible steps to quell anxiety in the movement if he is to ensure a strong GOP turnout in November.
"Many conservatives want to be able to be for Donald Trump because they fear the alternative, but they have not yet seen in him what they need to see to make the transition," Perkins said. "There is not a lot that has transpired since Ted Cruz left the race and Donald Trump has been on the path to being the nominee -- he has not done anything that would make people change their minds."
It was made abundantly clear that Trump was not an ideal candidate and that he had to be prepared and trained in order for the CNP to back him.
The article continues:
“Another prominent member of the CNP is former Ohio Secretary of State Ken Blackwell, who said he is "slow walking" his embrace of the Trump candidacy. In some ways, Blackwell said, promoting Trump would for conservatives be akin to snatching defeat from the jaws of victory if he does not accept their principles, after generations of trying to put conservative thought at the heart of U.S. government.
"I would say everybody wants to unify and everybody is mindful of the fact and respectful of the fact that Trump has weathered the storm of a primary," Blackwell said. "But the vast majority of us are not ready to jettison our platform or the philosophy that has gotten us to this majority party status, the only other rung is the presidency."
Early on the CNP was making comparisons to the character of Ronald Reagan, another idiotic stooge that for some reason appealed to people when he was on TV, despite being indisputably guilty of high treason and responsible for importing thousands of tons of drugs (specifically into black neighbourhoods to cause problems), the crack epidemic, Reagonomics, the privatisation of UK industry and genocide as a foreign policy standard. Reagan was a terrible person that acted as a front man for even more terrible people that enacted policies that were extremely detrimental to all but a select few of society. Reagan is the sort of person that makes me wish I believed in eternal damnation and torture. Anyway, I digress. Back to that self serving bag of week old mayonnaise dusted with a hookers pubic hair, the President of the United States Of America, Donald Trump.
“Schlafly, a pioneering conservative activist and founding member of the CNP, said that Trump is not the first Republican candidate to face questions about his personal authenticity as a conservative.
"I can remember 1980 when a lot of us didn't think Reagan was an authentic conservative. Reagan turned out to be best president of the century," she said. She backed Trump partly because he was the only candidate talking about illegal immigration, which she said was "the most important issue in the country."
The CNP were fully aware that this image was garbage, they just chose to go along with it if Trump did their bidding, completely willing to disregard his dishonesty, corruption, lies, weirdness about his daughter, failed businesses, multiple divorces, connections to the mafia, connections to Jeffrey Epstein, sexual indirections with porn stars, friendship with the Clintons, previous business relationship with George Soros, stated pro-life stance and ridiculous haircut. Recently Trump has been talking about his bible more and more, this is obvious nonsense, a paper thin veneer to disguise the sort of terrible self serving person that Trump is. Rather predictably, some of the CNP members tried to play it off in public that Trump was anything other than a convenient front.
“Father Frank Pavone, a Roman Catholic priest who directs the Priests for Life organization, is backing Trump because he believes in the sincerity of his anti-abortion rights credentials -- despite doubts among other conservatives on his conversion from a previously pro-abortion rights position.
"No matter what uncertainties there might be about him, there are no uncertainties about where Clinton will go or anyone on the Democratic side on this issue in particular," Pavone said.
"A lot of people will come out with the statement that she is as bad as he is, but he is not on this issue particularly," said Pavone, who believes that Trump's change of attitude on abortion is "real and sincere."
For those that don’t know Frank Pavone is a fanatically anti-abortion priest who once filmed himself placing an aborted foetus on an altar while imploring followers to vote for Trump.
Other members were not as convinced and felt that Trump was the wrong candidate.
“Kim Bengard, a businesswoman and social conservative activist from California, does not believe that Trump's conversion on abortion is genuine. After swallowing her reservations to side with previous moderate Republican nominees like Bob Dole, John McCain and Mitt Romney, Bengard has hit the end of the line with Trump.
"I can't do it," Bengard said, adding that she believes the billionaire's anti-abortion rights position is simply one of convenience.
"I don't believe he is a Republican. He is certainly not a conservative," said Bengard.”
Regardless of the concerns of Bengard, Trump was chosen and thus far he has stuck to their instructions perfectly.
Why is the mainstream media not covering this? Why are the alternative media not covering this?
